I'm Sally Revell. I spent 25 years leading global product marketing and go-to-market for AI, machine learning, and cloud at Google Cloud, AWS, Intuit, Philips, and IBM.
Today I'm Founder and Chief Coach at Generative Human, offering AI executive coaching for senior leaders navigating AI transformation.
The Story
I spent 25 years building AI and cloud businesses at AWS, Google Cloud, Intuit, Philips, and IBM. I was in this work before it was a dinner party topic.
In 2024, I lost both of my parents. Four months apart, after a year of flying between continents to care for them, all while running a global team, raising kids, managing a household, and somewhere in there trying to be a decent partner, parent, and human. There was no time left for me. From that kind of loss comes a clarity. I knew I had to leave Google. But leaving also meant letting go of the identity I'd spent my whole career building. That part was its own kind of grief.
The last two years have been anything but linear. I built two companies, took a short stint back in corporate, and had long stretches where I genuinely didn't know where I would land. I watched peers move forward while I was still figuring out who I was without the title.
What I kept coming back to were my values: family, freedom, community, curiosity, contribution, thoughtfulness, and helping others. Coaching is where all of those live. I had found the thing I was meant to do. It felt like coming home.
What I learned the hard way is what many of my clients are living right now. The weight of the role, the family, the constant question of what comes next.
I built Generative Human because I know what it takes to perform at this level without it costing you everything. That's the work we do together.
